Deliberations

Post by claymore »

I have an ageing friend who has invited me down to his house for a few days in January and has offered to take me to the boat show. Without doubt when we get there he will be doing his best to treat me to some gadget or other as a token of his appreciation that I graced PhandyTowers with ma presence.
Whit do you think I should insist he buys me.
The most I ever saw him spend in one go was a tenner - just to put things in perspective. And he has ordered 5Kg o' ma finest sausages so I'm oot o' pocket frae the word go.
Regards
Claymore

You are talking of a man who is convinced that ten euros in an envelope is sufficient wonga to entice someone on a 1000nm detour into mid-Atlantic . . .

Is there onything ye really need by Tescos Clubcard Vouchers. They're aften 'doubled -up'.

Firelighters, time-ex'd bread, wee Christmas Tree decorations....

Insist he buys you a 'we chocolate banana', or bag of, white or brown, tasty and energising, at least initially.
