Oot the watter

Fairwinds was lifted today - she's been in the water for four seasons now, with only one 48 hour lift-out for antifouling. To say tehre are fa few wee jobs to do wojld be n understatement.

Ohh, that strikes a chord. My wee boat recently came out for the first time in over 3 years & with a rather long list of jobbies to do. But my ast track record suggests she will go bac in again with many not completed & some not even started. :shake:

Mah wee boatie is out, has been for a couple of weeks and I've even managed to make a start on the job list:

Engine, gearbox, shaft, prop and half a cutlass bearing out along with the stinking, oily sound insulation from the engine compartment, nice shiny tin foil coated insulation in.

To Do List:

new engine, shaft, prop and bearing to go in along with control panel, the wiring loom will probably need half the boat dismantled to fit..

New battery isolator, might as well since the boat will be in bits to fit the control panel.

Re wire things properly, 'speshly the Eberspacher.

Replace the battery monitor I broke removing the old instruments...

Drop the rudder and replace the shaft seals

Replace the hull anode and mounting so that it doesn't leak.

Replace the main halyard and the three jammers on the mast so that my nice new Owen suit sails will stay up.

Oh, and stay here offshore to pay for all the new bits :|
