I just want to know
were do I find information regarding childrens shoes and there requirements. I would like to start a store specializing only in children clothing and shoes but need to do some research of both products to make sure I understand them in a better manner before investing in the venture.

Another Mini Cooper sailor with a shoe problem! I thought there was some sort of vetting process for new posters, or maybe I've slipped onto a shoe site by mistake. If these have been generated in response to the recent boot thread - anybody fancy a thread on the best lingerie to wear under oilies?

Silkie is on holiday and I'm so unimpressed with the current standard of posting on here that I have been letting the shoe spam slip through to keep us entertained.marisca wrote:Another Mini Cooper sailor with a shoe problem! I think I might get a clip round the ear or worse, if I was seen to be reading a thread on lingerie. God knows what whould happen if there were pictures involved

What about a thread on colregs, or anchoring perhaps. Fairly safe territory there I believe.

Re: I just want to know
I think that you are absolutely correct. As for some of the other comments on this thread, well, if the shoe fits, wear it. It's a straightforward issue and that's all I have to say on the mattereliseocze wrote:were do I find information regarding childrens shoes and there requirements. Re: I just want to know
In my experience, admittedly limited, children usually need at least 2 shoes - one per foot(foot as in appendage at the bottom of the leg(not bottom of the leg which could be the top as that is where ones bottom sits) not per foot of height or any other dimension). There may be exceptions to this rule, notably Jake The Peg(with his extra leg), or Long John Silver who was just below par in the leg department - but I don't know if that was as a child or not.eliseocze wrote:were do I find information regarding childrens shoes and there requirements. Hope that helps.

Re: I just want to know
The important thing to remember that the average number of feet per child is less than 2.
(For anyone who doesn't believe me, just think about it. The overwhelming majority of children have two feet, but a very small number have one or none as a result of trauma, birth defect etc. This group will not be counterbalanced by a similar number having three or more feet, so the average will be less than two.)
