.
I have promised to move a client's boat from Oban to Kip this week (or at a push next) and can't leave until Weds. Weather is looking like light SE for a day or so then unsettled towards the end of the week, so I think it's the canal . . .
XC weather is showing F6-7 for Thurs/Fri/Sat in the Clyde (S then going W on Saturday)
Magic Seaweed is showing similar Thurs/Fri then going quieter on Saturday
The pressure charts are showing a reasonably slack pattern throughout.
Any guesses as to what is actually going to happen?

Re: Wossawevverdoin'
I'm hoping to do the reverse trip on 30th. But I only have a three day window, and have four of my kids or their parntners or hangers on coming, so am planning the canal. Many hands make light work (of the locking)!
Reverse trip last year in Sept was singlehanded, so it was MoK, via west of Islay, Gigha etc.
At least the canal doesn't require wind!
