What a difference a week makes

Post by claymore »

This time last week, there I was escorting Madam Shard to the Jura Store. Filled with a fine breakfast and the pleasant prospect of a gentle meander over to Gigha.
Today:
Clean Car
Cut Grass
Do Shopping
Fix downspout
Tidy Shed
Find bike pump
Pick up new specs

plus the list that Dear Heart has not yet communicated....
The fact that I am typing this perhaps suggests a lack of preparedness to engage with the listed tasks.
Ah well.
Regards
Claymore

.
I have never seen the point in cleaning cars. There is a machine at Tescos, but even that seems like five minutes that could have been better spent.

I agree. A thick layer of mud, grime and isects protects the paintwork so when you come to flog it, it looks like new ;-)

Washing cars is a waste of time.

Washing my motorbike is a pleasant task that is done often.

Still can't bring myself to polish it though- so there is hope....
