..... and many happy returns!

Was in London yesterday - £2.30 for 5 stops on a bus and £4.30 for a short tube journey. They weren't interested in my bus pass!

Fraid so. As you might expect, ZigmundoVanDog (I think that he must have some sort of custom program set up to show him all the birthdays )picked up on it in t'other place. A few people picked up on it on Facebook though I almost missed them cos I can't fly FB properly.

I was in London for meetings on 24 and 26 so spent the 25 with SWMBO doing touristy things in the rain: London Eye, Tait Modern, V&A and theatre. By pure chance we came upon a really good pub called the Blackfriar at, erm, Blackfriars.

Although I applied for it a couple of weeks ago I am still waiting for the wee blue card. I bought an Auld bu99er's rail card on line today ...
