Chartering In Sweden - Recommend A Charter Company?

Post by BlowingOldBoots »

Hi,

I am planning to charter a yacht in Sweden this summer. Does anyone have a recommendation for a charter company?

Thanks,

It's not a recommendation, but SWMBO and I hired a Bav 42 from Per Engdahl (+46 eight 76six 0240). Various web sites: (www.seapaw.com, www.comar.se, www.boatcharterstockholm.se).

We hired out of Gashaga Marina.

The boats were spotlessly clean & new-ish with no problems I could find. The staff spoke great English and were freindly.

I was a bit narked at having to pay extra on the day for dinghy and outboard. (Although I said we'd leave the outboard and they left it on anway.)

We'd certainly hire from them again, but it's tricky to enthusiastically recommend them when we don't know what the other firms are like IYSWIM!
