'Cos TOP mentioned it I went looking again and the Sanda website isn't quite as far up itself as it was, but still looks as if they need help in the concept of right to roam and anchor. An attraction for passing sailors starved of company since Gigha or Campbeltown might be the "Premises Manager" Berna Civeleker
Whether the welcome extends to the lower orders anchoring their boats and desiring liquid refreshment rather than haute cuisine, I await reports. If I do get there I feel it is incumbent upon me to anchor under sail!

£10 to moor but no liability accepted . . . . another anchorage clogged up with moorings . . . fine by your somewhat decadent Solent standards Jim m'lad but not acceptable up here in the Land of the (soon to be) Free
He has sailed there though (I've sailed out of there with him) and anyway I think that Solent, in this context, is just shorthand for soft southern sailing.

Absolutely everywhere, I'd have bloody well thought. If I am paying for a mooring then I expect the people providing it to take liability for the state of the equipment and to have public liability insurance.

Correct. Though Coll was an exception until recently when CMAL took it over.
