Here's a pic of the first yacht I ever sailed on - the River Cruiser class Pirate, seen here on the River Ant near Ludham Bridge, on the Norfolk Broads. She was owned by my grandfather at the time.
This picture would have been taken maybe in the late 1950s - it was a popular postcard published and sold by the Norwich stationer Jarrolds.

She was sail no. 15, built in 1901. Apparently her current owner is still racing her, and she now sports a topsail again as in the earlier picture below:
