Now that's an idea! Royal yacht and ETV combined. Would just need an enlarged crew quarters and a few more masts for Royal Standards and other flags. It would be useful for more than 2 week every year and would be stationed in her favourite cruising grounds. It could even be crewed by all the redundant admirals etc. that can't be given the shove.

They are discussing this on Radio Scotland right now. Apparently the DoE always thought that the existing Brittannia could simply have been re-engined.
