Avatar and date of birth

I noticed that my avatar is a wee box with a red cross and thought I would add a nice picture like lots of other clever folks, so I went to the user panel and could not find how to put in an avatar. Then I saw the bit about date of birth and thought it may be a good idea to fill that in. Then I thought again that it is not a good idea to put yor DoB on a forum as some sites use it for security. Now I cannot delete it so I will change it to not my real date of birth. So when you look, I am not really 102 years old. Even if Sahona says I look it.

You've obviously found the User Control Panel so under Options click Profile and Edit Avatar to add or change an avatar.

In the drop-downs for dd, mm and yyyy for setting your birthday in Edit profile the first option (above 1, 1 and 1911 (just as well we have no super-centenarians aboard)) is -- which will remove your DOB from the board.
