A sad story.

I heard on the radio they wonder what to do with it. Why not cook it and eat it. Feed quite a few people with 15 tonnes of whale. Reasonably fresh!
I remember the first time I tried whale (in Iceland), and could not tell it from beef.

Stick a few tarpaulins over it, call it the Tobermory Treasure, and the crowds will come flocking. If Dougie wass here he would tell you himself.mm5aho wrote:I heard on the radio they wonder what to do with it.

Dougie would have been better of in the Kilbrannan Sound about a week ago. There was a nav warning from Clyde about a 15foot plus dead whale off Carradale. We were heading to Lochranza (from Otter Ferry) , and we didn't have room for it in our hold anyway
