Jings, never been in
that close to the jetty. Well done! Bilge keels?
We've anchored off the jetty, but only in settled conditions; the holding didn't seem too good. Maybe next time...

'Visitors who land are advkised to take care'
It's an HS (Haswell-Smith) that is definitely on my list. What was the 'anchorage' like?

I think the bottom just off the jetty is pretty much shingle-ish like the beach, but we were on a Maxi 84 fin keel on a falling tide & we only just managed off the jetty at 0.8m reading on the echo sounder.
There are many publications and pictures of AC with some showing larger vessels on the opposite side, so it might be worth considering this, but well-fendered as it was tending to push you on.
And HS is definitely now on my Christmas list.
