I need some work done (other than normal servicing) on a Yanmar engine in the Firth of Clyde area. Does anyone have any recommendations.
Thanks

I haven't been to Troon for a while but had heard that Sandy has retired. Will maybe take a run down there.

Yes, Sandy has finished, and I think he gave his spanner to West Coast Marine Services. try a call to 01292 318121 to see if they're Yanmar-initiated.

Re: Yanmar specialists
I spoke to him over a year ago and he was looking for someone to take over or buy the business from him, He must have been struggling as he asked if I would like to buy it.sahona wrote:Yes, Sandy has finished, and I think he gave his spanner to West Coast Marine Services. try a call to 01292 318121 to see if they're Yanmar-initiated.
I was surprised when he told me he hadn't trained as an engineer but came from a farming background....might explain a few things
