Hylomar Blue
When re-assembling diesel line couplings using this fine sticky stuff as sealant, use it very sparingly. Otherwise a plug of dark blue gunge can block the fuel line very effectively. This can mean that anchoring under sail becomes a necessary exercise, and then the time taken to dismantle all the joints and poke out the goo to make the engine go again can mean that a vital tidal gate is missed.

Re: Hylomar Blue
I just wish you had told me that before I replaced my cooker & found that it was worse than the one I took out - due to excessive joint sealant blocking the gas flow.
I was months without toast before & found the problem.
