Have the Oban Times considered bringing out a budget, smaller version and simply calling it 'O'?

What a brilliant idea; they could cut out all the trivia & focus on the important news in the area & cut edition down to the size of a piece toilet paper, folded in half. :tiphat:

No - your are mixing it up with 'Yachting Times' - this is Oban Times I am talking about - Where they report the arrivals and departures on the Kerrera Ferry in a stop press.

Now that you mention this, they are in the area north of Glasgow as well, not all the leaves on the tree, but usually on the windward side only. Never seen this before. The leaf stems must have been damaged. All the roads in our area were rendered impassable by fallen trees for a while, haven't seen that before in 25 years around here, but then again, trees in leaf attract greater loading..
