Hope so, as long as it's before the 26th that's when my week off starts and hopefully I'll be heading west.

Well it saved us having to wash down the boat after our week away.................. :D
Only got as far as Strontian in loch Sunart, coincided with the strontian west fest, various scottish bands playing in a marquee & very expensive drink...
Very wet trip back yesterday :umbrella:

Well those plans have now gone t1ts up. With the lows keeping rolling in I decided to postone until the end of June when I have more time off booked. This weekend doesn't look like getting any better with max temps only around 13 or 14 degreees.

We are hoping to start out at the weekend just coming, I'm not sure it's a good idea.

Not set out on the TSA Scottish cruise yet as looking at weather forecasts with concern. Also I have managed to come down with another bout of the dreaded lurgi - the same as just before the Scuttlebutt/Chentleman's cruise.

It's been so dry here at Stormrider Towers that I've been watering my garden. On a boaty note one of the main reservoirs near the M62 is looking very low and may preclude the clubs sailing on it.

I'm sure we could sell you some water - we seem to have quite a lot of it currently.

We were hoping to get away mid May but have postponed.
Booked some time in France instead, so no doubt the weather will improve drastically as soon as we're on the plane...enjoy!

Not to worry - after the debacle of Yorkshire Water running out a few years ago and having to bring it in by tanker they have invested in a second bucket. We have a wheely bin of water settling at the moment to put in our pond before we set off to the TSA cruise.

We may bring some back with us as a souvenir, though.
