'Sceptre' in trouble?
According to a rather cryptic text from a friend who is aboard a SIPR yacht, Sceptre has being having some troubles. Aground at Jura and then had to be rescued - lifeboat and a naval vessel - somewhere about the Mull of Kintyre, presumably aground again. Anyone know anything more?

Re: 'Sceptre' in trouble?
Apparently ran aground to the east of the last island in the chain that shelters Craighouse, from what I can gather she sat off to the east but presumably got a bit close at some point. My brother-in-law was arriving into Craighouse and saw her sitting at a very odd angle to the wind...
The kids that were on board were transferred off before the MOK as a precaution as they suspected rudder damage. It appears they were correct as on rounding they lost the rudder and were recovered by the RNLI to Cambeltown.
Craighouse part courtesy of brother-in-law, MOK part courtesy of race control when we popped down to Troon, so some of the details might be incorrect.

Rudder loss was about 3 miles north of MoK lighthouse. HMS D**** (whatever the latest yin is called) went to her aid and her sea boat took Sceptre under tow before the C'toon RNLI arrived. Sceptre was in Troon when I left today.
