Re: New RYA Scotland website
It would appear that the RYA is on a drive to recruit youngsters in Scotland. No bad thing in the long run but there are a huge number of cruisers in Scottish waters, so they should also target them but to what benefit to the cruiser?little boy blue wrote:seems fine ( especially if you are a twittering dinghy sailor)

Re: New RYA Scotland website
My perception is that the RYA has always focussed on Racing; in dinghies, offshore or in cruisers. Perhaps they don't want to tread on the CCC & CA territory?

Re: New RYA Scotland website
I've been feeling a bit neglected as a mature cruiser - perhaps my budget would be better directed to a membership of CCC rather than RYA (as they are mutually exclusive, financially) Whaddja think?
