It might be bit colder again, but what beautiful weather we are having. Went for a walk yesterday up Glen Finglas, where we met a chap, who works and lives in the glen, filling large filling plastic containers with water from a spicket in a field. Apparently the entire water supply to his cottage froze in early December. He reckoned that the supply pipe under his yard has gone solid in the "permafrost". Bit different from life in the towns and cities.
Wonder how long this will go on for.
