I was working as the truck driver / stagehand on my recent job in Brussels so went to my hotel to chill for a couple of hours at the time of the awards dinner so only heard about this when I went back to derig / load the truck.

GP seemingly were well organised - they had 2 people undercover at the dinner who got backstage on the pretext of answering their phone / being hotel security and managed to open the firedoors to allow the protesters entry to the venue.

Neatly done & nice to see no violence. I'm convinced the recipient thought it was a positive award until he thought about it later & then turned the sign over. Pity it never got on the main news channels.
