Prestigious events - 2011

Post by ParaHandy »

Wi'oot doobt, there will be a royal wedding. A word from HMG to HM along the lines "good idea to lift morale, eh, yer maj?"

On 22 April or thereaboots, a fine boat with a crew of the nation's finest seafarers will set sail from Fleetwood ... erm ..

Clearly, my travel arrangements may get upset by a royal nuptial so I enquired of my travel insurer whether I needed to augment my cover and was told:
"are youse the bampot whae fer the last three years has claimed an unused (1st class) train ticket frae Oban 'cos some auld goat has'nae got there. Gang awa an' bile yer heid".

Jings these insurers wull jist weasel thur way oot of onything eh?

I have already made representations to HM aboot the date; indeed, the auld goat would be distraught if his pal HRH P Anne were to include him in her party and thus deny the opportunity to sail his fine vessel. He need not fret, HRH will remember the occasion when he parked his bike twixt the royal grande fesse whilst she was bent over.
