We should therefore spare a though for the crew and passengers on the Ferry Hjaltland stuck in the North Sea. I recommend staying indoors and reading about ecume de mers and trailer-sailing around the West Coast of Scotland in the latest edition of the single-handed boat magazine, PBO.
