Visual confirmation now required to register for forums

Post by Nick »

Due to the increased amount of spam signups registration for these fora now requires users to enter a numerical code shown on a (nonmachine-readable) graphic.

The forum has also now been updated to the very latest version, addressing a couple of security issues.

Had me worried there for a minute. Thought we might be required to make a pilgrimage to Balvicar to be eyeballed by the webmaster.

Is it really that bad? I guess it must be.

PS - I see you still haven't fixed the link on the circumnavigation homepage. How hard can it be?
What does this mean?
