Hi everyone,
I have spent the weekend improving the SWIS forecasts and wondered what your thoughts are now.
You can view them by going to
http://www.weatherweb.net/marine/swistrial.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The forecasts now cover the UK and Ireland, and they will be extended further soon.
These forecasts can be provided specifically for your club/marina and can now be easily printed and display. You club or marina can even have their logo on the forecasts.
I’d be interested in your thoughts.
Simon

Hi Simon,
I like the format but are you a bit confused about your Mulls and do you mean Galloway when you say Kintyre? Otherwise Barrow-in-Furness to Mull of Kintyre is a very large area and Mull of Kintyre to Campbell Town is very small, assuming you mean Campbeltown, since it is actually on the Mull of Kintyre.
I also liked the confidence level expressed in another forecast format but I presume this is not possible in what I imagine to be an entirely automated output apart from the chart and text boxes which are duplicated for each area.

Ditto Silkie. Would it be a problem for you to use the MCA/MetOffice sea areas?

Whingeing beggars - Barrow in Furness to Kintyre is exactly what we need - Fleetwood would be even better
