This site is pretty much finished now, tweaked for any browser-related quirks and with a few additions. The owner and myself have been through it with a fine-tooth comb but if anyone here has a few moments and they want to look through this for typos or other errors it would be useful.



(Currently working on a new chandlery / sailing electronics e-commerce site - watch this space. Meantime back to the holiday cottages . . . )

On the home page, I have never seen out-with hyphenated before. Are you sure that it is right?

That's the client's copy, but I think you are right so I have de-apostrophised it.

The other one I spotted but may be up for debate is on the 'Sailing South From Craobh Haven' page - I've never heard the The MacCormaig Isles called the Cormack Isles but that's not to say that there is a right & wrong... spelling is, after all, generally dependent on whose anglicisation was dominant at the time. A bit like piobaireachd, oral transmission results in variations. I suspect Shard may appear here soon: Loch Lubhair vs Loch lubhair etc etc

This is quite a useful proof reading facility. Perhaps I should put our company websites up here for analysis!

You are - I think - right Shuggy, and the error is entirely down to me.

This is the first time I have invited proofreading on here, but it may not be the last - as you point out, it is an incredibly useful facility. I am in the process of converting our East Atlantic blog into a pre-KLindle-publication document, so may be putting that up here in chunks for consideration.
