Why let facts get in the way of a good story?

As it happens we were having a glorious evening sail down Windymere with a gentle breeze, a bit of close hauled/close reach but not having to try too hard, a cold Becks, and a mention on national radio too, infamy at last.

For info, it was that golden sun you get as it's going to bed, no foties though.
Seminole.

I've been roused from my beauty sleep to type exactly what I texted in to the show:

'Hi Simon, sailing on our yacht, sipping on an ice cool beer, lazing on a sunny afternoon - better than The Kinks!
Erica on 'Chiron' Windermere.

He was asking people to text in after they had had a perfect day. We had cycled 11 miles round Grizedale Forest, lunched near Beatrix Potter's home at Hill Top and taken the old chain ferry across the lake then picked up some stuff for an evening's barbeque. We were actually motoring down as there was no wind whatsoever - it being after the 5-0-clock drop. The lyrics to the Kinks's song - 'Lazing on a sunny afternoon' just popped into my head. Actually they were the last two beers on the boat! (until the skipper offered me a schooner of sweet sherry)
Became a full-time sailor at the end of May

Ah-ha, now we are getting closer to the heart of the conspiracy! 8) Poor reporting by OP - I can live with that, I do it often enough myself! :D
