Anyone got a tidal atlas to hand?

Post by MrMcP »

Thinking of making a dash back to Craobh on the Monday of WHYW after the race, to reunite crew with cars and collect new crew, but have left tidal atlas on the boat and not sure if tides will work for us or not.

If anyone has one to hand, could you let me know when the tides turn at Luing to allow us through heading south relative to HW Oban/Dover? I have Mr Claymore's tidal summary, but I gather that's when you can make it through under power, and if we're pushing tide I'd rather not spend the time going slow - be easier to leave it till the Tuesday.

Any assistance much appreciated - paid with beer if you're around this weekend.

Date?
09:30 0n 2nd Aug and 05:12 on the 9th

The definitive guide is for when the tide turns so not necessarily for motoring

Ah, knew I forgot something....it's the 2nd so guessing the evening turn will be around 20:30 or so, which is ideal.

Very much appreciated.
