Engine technoilogy

Post by Telo »

Have you noticed how rare it is to see oil patches on the road these days?

In a similar vein, many of us with older boats used to assume that oil in the bilges was just of the scene; well, it was part of ours until three or four years ago. What is it about modern engine technology that has elimiated the problem?

Well - I think you have put your finger on it when you speak of it being elimiated. This is to do with the emulsification of the isotropes and having a decent set of rubbers.

I think.

It must either be an improvement in engine technoilogy or a deterioration in oisoight.
