a Gem Micro 18 from a breakback trailer, ensure the winch cable is not rotten. If you do not do this, there is a very good chance of the most spectacular lifeboat style launch ensuing. This may lead to the trolley or 'dipper' as they are affectionately known in areas of the NW of England - adjacent to the ancient fishing port of Fleetwood, becoming lost until the following low water
It may also lead to ones chest high waders being filled to brimming with seawater as you slide equally spectacularly into the oggin - in your determination to not let go of the painter.

Fantastic! & thanks for the laugh! LOL!!!!!!!
If your trolley/dipper is in the estuary of the Wyre I don’t envy you the retrieval at low water.
What’s that song?..... mud, mud glorious mud!
