I really think that Nick is doing very well co-ordinating things, sort-of, ish, or at least offering lots of alternative cruise plans.
BUT cruise participants will be aware that Claysie is somehow Cruise Director for life, and that, like other royal titles, he can't abdicate. It's in the CC constitution, or would be if Para had got round to writing it.
So anyway, we need a title for Nick. If it's a chentleman's cruise perhaps he should be Batman? Or maybe he can choose a title.

Re: Legal issues: Title required for Nick
CDO - pretty much a rubbish suggestion really as there is no development taking place. It is working to a long established formula with the same old same old places being visited.
In my day we visited Tayvallich, Gigha, Craighouse, Colonsay, Ardfern, Croabh as well as the stations North.
Nick appears fixated with Bunessan and a Tour of Mull which will never happen as long as your airses point south because the weather is predictably unpredictable at this time of year.
Perhaps Fort William or Strontian could be identified as possible destinations or Port Ellen perhaps with the options they naturally include and therefore ensure reduced exposure to the Ross of Mull and its associated conditions?
Whilst he is not my choice to take over the reins of this prestigious event - I simply cannot take to the habit he has of licking his own eyebrows - in the face of rebuttal from Shard, of whom I expected greater things, I will concede that for 2010, Webzit should take over the day-to-day running of the event with the proviso that this tenure terminates on Tuesday May 4th at 09:00 hrs.
In terms of title, I am happy to bestow the prefix of Claymore's Unequivocal Nominated Temp.

If I may be so bold, perhaps in view of the current circumstance the following should be considered.
Claymore is temporarily elevated to Cruise Chairman and Executive Director whilst Nic is appointed Executive Cruise Director 2010.
