Re: Laurie Anderson
Well that's a relief then! After a night of intensive therapy at the Loanhead Miner's Club I've only posted two music vids and sent one inoffensive PM.

I don't remember it being in the charts although I do remember it being championed by John Peel in the late seventies/early eighties.

I was wrong. Wiki says it got to number 2. I do remember there being a fuss, or something odd about it, but I can't remember what that was.

Fairly sure it was she made it herself in her front room using multi-loop technology.Alcyone wrote:I was wrong. Wiki says it got to number 2. I do remember there being a fuss, or something odd about it, but I can't remember what that was.

Re: Laurie Anderson
I'm pretty sure the youtube version is a lot more polished and produced than the one I first heard JP playing. I could easily believe it had been produced in someone's front room with tape, scissors and glue.

Wooosh - right over the top of my head, I'm afraid. Is this a "kings new clothes" joke?
