Goodness, me & thank you kindly all. It was a quiet day (I took a day off work) just a little shopping & relaxation. I did have permission to spend a couple of days at the boat, but snow & ice followed by loads of rain meant that I decided it wasn't worth the tank of petrol to go. So I have banked the option for now. Maybe at the weekend.

Fullcircle, I bought myself a Step-up mast ladder from a forumite on another forum. Plus a nice bottle of Dows from my daughter. Problem is, if I need stuff, I can buy it, so it doesn't make it easy for people who may feel the need to buy prezzies.
