I have been forced into a clear out and a shelf approximately 2m long must be emptied of YW, PBO, Sailing Today, the odd YW etc. dating from 2001 to the present. Not a full set of anything, A-Z of boats has been removed to a separate folder, Gull's Eye charts have been removed.
If no-one wants them, they will be binned. Pick up southside of Edinburgh.

Sadly, I have almost the same collection which I will have to "recycle" sometime. I keep getting my ear bent, but so far I haven't translated this into action

I think we're all in the same cupboard, so to speak.
Pretty irresponsible of TOP not to have a green 'buy-back recycle' scheme isn't it?

Re: FREE!!! Approx 2m of Magazines
Maybe I'm not selling this opportunity well enough!
All the sailing articles are just the same as the latest ones - how to park forwards, Contessas are better than anything else, Fitting Out lists, how to park backwards, how wonderful the solent is, etc., etc.. The only things that have changed are the prices in the ads.
These magazines are safe to leave lying around, beside the bog, wherever, 'cos she will not be shocked by the cost of the toys you happen to mention buying and you can tell her they represent a cost of ~£600 and you got them for nothing - no woman can resist a bargain
You've got till tomorrow night and then they've gone.
