Quite seriously I'm not sure if it's good enough!

It all looks a bit colourless and out of focus to me! All the Calender shot's I've seen have been literally perfect and probably taken with posh DSLRs.

From that Holiday my favorites are these two:

http://fattie.freehostia.com/Scotland_A ... rget6.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Or from an Autumn Ionian trip this year:

You didn't happen to notice the reader's boat pic this month by any chance?

I didn't, can you give me a clue where to look?

In other news I notice they've photo shopped Poll Domhain - rmoved some light coloured rocks! How shocking! :-) Is nothing we see in the media real! :-)

AFAIK it's usually only a couple of inches square with a brief write-up and appears in the first few pages. They keep threatening to use Nick's pic of Silkie in the Sound of Mull on the CC08.

Nope, it's a less attractive Swedish yacht and a far worse shot.

Interestingly in the search for your rather beautiful craft, "Azzura" was spotted on p47. I got a shot of her a while back and put it on yourboatpix:

Wonder if she's known to YM staff?

Both great photographs, guys.

I was thrown by YM's description of Poll Domhain as being in Argyll. It's not, but I had to look it up.

We passed it this "summer", belting down the Inner Sound in strong northerly. Looks like a good place to call at. Thanks

We went into Pol Creadha for a look, but it was crowded with local boats - little anchor room.
Hoped to peep at pol domhain as well but missed the entrance!
Crowlin was fine though.

Those are lovely - is the second one on Meganisi?

I found the Ionian to be difficult to take good pics in (I'm no photographer so don't fiddle with camera settings really) - the pictures often seem very washed out due to the hazy sunlight. After rain is often the best time.

Our favourites from there are:
