It’s Here!
After 2-years in development, I’m thrilled to announce that the Weather Whys DVD will be released on
1st November 2009.
It contains over 2-hours of short videos (35 of them altogether) dealing with topics from identifying clouds, to air masses, explaining why high and low pressure form, through to using weather charts and an explanation of skew-t diagrams.
This DVD is the ideal introduction to meteorology for the beginner and a great reference for those who know a little bit more. Written and narrated by me, Dr. Simon Keeling, it is the first in what I hope will be a series of DVDs explaining the weather, and all presented in my easy-to-understand style.
You can see samples of the videos by going to http://www.weatherweb.net/weatherwhys.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
But the really good news is that I am offering Weather Whys to you at an introductory price of £19.99, that’s £5 off the normal retail price of £24.99, and you can pre-order it now at http://www.weatherweb.net/books.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for dispatch on 1st November 2009. Alternatively order by telephone on 01902 895252.
Of course, Christmas is only a few weeks away (sorry to remind you) and Weather Whys will make an ideal Christmas present for you or a flying friend.
If the weather intrigues (or frustrates) you, then you need to get Weather Whys.
A promotion I know, but thought you would like to know.
Best wishes,
Simon
