Because of the irritating increase in automated spam posts I have reluctantly made it a requirement to register to post.

Everyone will still be able to view all forums, but if you are already registered you will need to be logged in to post or reply, and if you are not registered you will need to register. (Takes two minutes and is guaranteed harmless).

This should improve the forum experience for all of us.

You need to register to start a thread but not to reply . . .

Although for 'Shooting The Breeze' I have now changed it so you need to register to reply to a post as well.

We will see . . . it's hardly a big issue with the amount of traffic this board gets. I thought it might have bneen busier today because YBW was offline, but no . . .
