Looks like just another unloved and certainly unmoderated forum where the only activity is from the porn, drug and virus spammers. I was interested to see this piece of spam from someone who does enough moaning about it elsewhere!
We get them on here too. Most of the links that spammers put in their profiles make it perfectly obvious what they're peddling. In the interests of fairness I used to click on some of the innocent-sounding ones to make sure it was spam. After a few experiences with various nasties I don't bother anymore and just delete them all out of hand.
Immediately switching your computer off will prevent many problems from getting entrenched. I once got some useful help from Webuser with a similar problem.

At least he was just doing a bit of blatent advertising - and not doing subliminal nasties on your computer.

Thanks for the info. I was stupid twice (should that read twice as stupid?)as my firewall had flashed up a warning - but I didn't read it fully - I have spyware installed and thought that it was an update for that so pressed allow. I landed up with these new icons on my taskbar - but add/remove programs couldn't find the blighters.
. . . but using the Windows Restore function is often the simplest answer to this type of thing.
And yes, unmoderated forums get out of hand within a few days - the internet is ful of people who wil be put up against the virtual wall and virtually shot come the glorious day.
