What's the three masted vessel in the background? I swear I've seen it in the Solent.

What's the three masted vessel in the background? I swear I've seen it in the Solent.
Looks like Moonbeam.
I recall she went round the Mull after the '08 Fife Regatta.

This is a better photo - from Nick / Webcraft 's photo gallery. Nick participated in the 2008 Crinan Classic so will be able to tell you - he's on his hols so might be a while before he locks into someones free wifi.

She's called Adix. She was at the Fife & Crinan Classic Events. She sprouted a whole host of boats at the latter, including Little Toot, the diminutive tug-boat.

Just realised that I had photographed her from Helenburgh - I remember seeing Little Toot - allegedly you were behind me with a bunch of kids with icecreams.

True! We saw her in close-up detail at Crinan Classic, when the crew could be heard asking (as we sailed gently past), "Is that Tafna, the blue Miller Fifer, owned by the multi-hundredaire Shuggy, the infamous recluse?"

What slightly brought it home to me was that the size of her ensign is bigger than our boat.
