The original lite sound bite was Fred Mulley in 1974 who announced that UK nuclear power technology would lead the world and we'd sell nuclear reactors all over the world. We never sold one and the last of the 10 power stations was only commissioned a few years ago. Ed Milliband this morning gave us another Mullery lite when he informed us that we would lead the world in carbon capture ... erm .... I do hope nobody swallows this like we did the last as it preceeded the biggest write off ever by a UK company ..
