I have no strong opinions about it and am not even slighly critisizing, however I would have thought that the burgee shuold be flown on the port side, always thought the starboard side was reserved for a courtesey
We can't change the direction of the wind, but we can adjust our sails.

I had wondered about this too, but chickened out of saying anything as , despite blowing up the photo, I couldn't work out who she was.
Had a flash of inspiration and looked through a previous thread on 'My Boat Pics' and found her.

Not sure I agree. I always fly club burgees off the starboard side.
Actually, strictly speaking I don't care what side they are flown.

Surely the obvious answer is to have two burgees then you'll definitely be right... or wrong.

Well I fly mine from the St'bd.

Only because I have no block on the port spreader.
So there!

Starboard is correct. Anyone flying them on the port side on the CC will report to my cabin.

Oh dear.
Mine's under the PORT spreader (and staying there until other claims are substantiated) below the TCC burgee, and above the Alicante marina one (my last tenuous connection with sunshine).
