What's this refitiing malarkey?

Is'nt it a bit expensive to refit annually? Surely better just to keep boat in water and sort things as they break?

Err, it's easier? ie on the dock chandlery up the road rahther than mid ocean?

Some sense in that.
Last year cost 2000 euro to haul out, store, do a few small jobs and put back in.
This year 0 euro to stay in and fiddle meself. Obviously more satisfying!
