Absolutely Dave. In view of Claymore's impending retirement, he could set himself up with quite a clever wee number here.Silkie wrote:In fact I was wondering if you might be available for a little own boat tuition...
After his undoubted successes on the last two Chentleman's Cruises, I thought perhaps he might wish to offer a masterclass in spinnaker setting. We could have an illustrated online magic lantern lecture by the great man, perhaps in PowerePoint, suitably adorned with stage-by-stage photographs. I'm sure there must be some, somwhere.

Well that's nice.
Having mastered my embarrassment at revealing the depths of my ignorance of this important skill, my genuine plea for help (to a sailor I have greatly admired until now) is rebuffed with threats of violence.
You have gone down in my estimation Claymore.

My Dear Silkie
No offence intended - I'm changing medication at present and some side effects are apparently inevitable.
Actually, there is nothing wrong with the trim of your genoa as the boat was going along sweetly enough and anyone who commented otherwise really should be stuffed with the blunt end of a rag-mans trumpet.
How go the preparations of Webpie and the Albin Vinegar?

Saw the voyagers briefly last weekend and they are still supremely confident about progress though they take care to mask it behind a veneer of near hysteria for fear of tempting fate.
You're following ZNOY8 of course.
