Dodgers, what and where

Post by Ocklepoint »

What is the best material for making dodgers?

Where should I get it from?

I can easily make a template for them but are there any suggestions as to the best way to fabricate them.( I have access to a heavy duty sewing machine and a person who can operate it.)

Thanks

I bought made up dodgers from this guy, very reasonable and easy to deal with.

Bloke along the pontoon makes them and says that he allows a bit for stretch; so undersize but don't know by how much

I do mine on a heavy domestic machine and don't get stretch or shrinkage.
Scallop round deck cleats and fit a pocket or two on the inside.

Make super sure the thread is uv-proof.
