Yes I do and they are all in one or other of the pilots and Admiralty charts etc. I sincerely hope you already have these.

It really is much better to ask if you can have a link rather than posting a phony question. I'm afraid I'm inclined to take a dim view in this case since this is a sailing forum and you are a mobo charter company but I'll leave it up to the site owner.

Edward has in fact already enquired about advertising on BlueMoment. He has obviously identified this as a forum with a Scottish tinge, but has interpreted the word 'sailing' in a rather broader sense. He was however obviously prepared to contribute to the site's coffers, so fair play to him. I can't offer him advertising on here as we are purists, but I have offered advertising on another geographically specific site I run.

So - I'm not going to delete the post or hassle him too much, but Edward, see Ash's tagline. Both forum and main site are very much for those interested in sail cruising. We will however give you a friendly wave whenever we see you on the water - provided you don't swamp us with your wash of course. Silkie is based in Dunstaffnage, so invite him aboard for a beverage and I am sure he will realise that not all MoBoers are devils spawn.

More seriously, why use a hotmail address on a website, it must be possible to use @scottishyachtcharter.com. I know the secret is out once a reply email is sent, but it just looks so much better - IMHO

Why can't you use the @yourdomain.com account to reply from as well? Most of my clients do, it's not rocket science. If your ISP won't let you send from another account then set up an account with AuthSMTP for just £14 a year - problem solved.

However - I see that the company who did the site charge an extra £25 to set up email services plus £1.25 a month (in addition to a pretty exorbitant £239 +VAT per annum for hosting a five page website. Nice work if you can get it. Shame they have an obvious typo on their home page tho

(If anyone is interested we charge £125 per annum for hosting most sites [maybe a bit more if you have database driven apps like this forum]. That includes e-mail services, domain registration and support)

That's cos joiners can't spell korrectly - I would have said 'plumber' but C_W would have after me.

I might have another look at it. I'm not too bothered although the fact that the reply to and the sent from addresses are different can mean that it lands in the junk mail if I've sent a cold email.

My biggest concern was to have an email address which wouldn't need to change even if I changed ISP. Also as previously stated, I think that @domainname looks better on the paperwork.

BTW - I've sent a test email to Webcraft - hope it doesn't land in the junk folder!

[grumble]Youngsters - we bought the grandhildren a laptop and I spent christmas eve setting up user accounts and @NTLWorld email accounts for them but they've set up their own @hotmail accounts. The 6 yr old has used such a difficult name that he struggles to spell it correctly again! [/grumble]
