Let down by a friend

Recently, at great time and trouble to myself, I gave an acquaintance a lot of detailed information. I have'nt had the courtesy of an acknowledgemnt nevermind a thankyou .. is this manners in modern Britain?

I sense you are hurt Jamesie - was this personal information of a delicate and sensitive nature that needed a degree of confidentiality?

It was a wealth of information about brassicae in all its various guises, as you well know.

Jamesie - there is no easy way of saying this without causing some offence. I therefore embark upon this course with some trepidation but trust that the offence caused is repairable and inflicts only minor damage to your sensibilities. Anyway - its nothing you won't have heard before... - Wull youse fer fek's sake stap fonin when youse es pashed....?

Never understood a bleedin' word of it!!!!
