I was sorting some photos from last year and found these. I don't know who the boats belong to but the photos were taken between Troon and Tarbert on the 7th of June.
Must have been the best days of the year, weather wise.
The first pic looks like a Colvic 33, If it is then I think its from Ardrossan or Troon, and owned by a guy Called Alex, perhaps GordonMc or Ian (EX Booby Trapper) could confirm this?
Cant remember the name of the boat though.

No, its not Eilean. Alex Morton's Colvic Sailer was still on the hard at Troon in June recovering from her sinking.
She's had her bottom wetted since and is now in Ardrossan.
I agree about the weather. All of my trips seem to have been in F5 & 6, rain and more rain. I was enjoying the nice winter conditions until the last week or so... the boat and I have been strangers for two weekends now with F8-9's forecast.
Hopefull I will get out to her on Friday night.

.
Alex's boat is a Colvic 28 I think, It was next to my old boat (must change that avatar ) but is on the hard now at Ardrossan.
I think it was the best single day of sunshine we sailed in last year.
We sailed to Tarbert from Troon and had a great night in Tarbert but woke to the more normal grey skies and rain.

Forum name as well ?
I wonder what we would all be called if we were stuck with the name of our first boat?
Signed Redwing, HSC.

Cruising, racing, maintenance facilities. Go take a look, you know you want to.
"M T Pockets" was the name of the Jaguar 25, my first named boat, the mirror was called "the mirror" which was my first one too big to go in the bath..
Aquaplane was called "Muddy Boots II" when I got her.

Funny that you mention Redwing Bill as There is a Redwing on the Clyde, an old "Itchen ferry", (make)
He keeps it up around Tighnabruich.
Does it ring a bell?
No Eamonn, my 'redwing' was a one-off built in tarbert in 1910.
This is before mast, sails foredeck and iron CB plate were "prucched" and added in 1967
