London
The Muzz and I are at a conference and exhibition on Friday 16th Jan in London.
We have secured lodgings in the Euston area and he has suggested that we should perhaps skip some of the conference and go to the Boat Show
Personally I am surprised at this scurrilous attempt to divert public money into activities solely concerned with personal pleasure. Muzzy says "Who gives a stuff" (stuff was not the actual word he used)
The problem is that he is such a useless buggeroo on his own that I shall have to go along with the scheme just to keep him safe.

Re: London
Ah, I'll be in Flaine 8 - 15 Feb.
Does that coincide with you?
Damn right about the lift passes. 6 days in Tignes over Hogmanay was £220, and eating was as bad: lunch of sausage and chips with a couple of glasses of plonk a mere £25
If only we'd adopted the euro years ago...

Hi Dave
We arrive on Saturday evening 14th. PM me your mobile number. I remember a pub called the White Grouse or something - staying at the Hotel Aujon

Ah, that's probably not going to work, then. We're staying at the scruffy end of Flaine - at Morillon: no problem getting over to Flaine itself by ski, but no easy way of getting there in the evening, and you'll arrive on our last night...

We shall be in attendance on Friday at the Boat Show, and are delighted to accept your exceedingly generous offer of a superb meal in one of Covent Garden's finest.

Definetly worth a visit for something unusual.
Re: London
Sarastro is suprisingly good value for London, scoff-wise. I found myself there after my last business trip to the Smoke as I was staying in the Travelodge just up Drury Lane.
Time it right and you will get some opera thrown in.
