Happy New Year to everybody.

I've just surfaced after a good night in the pub at the next wee place. It is a very small pub, which they shut at the back of 10, then everyone moved on to the village hall where we had a good shindig until 1am, then we all went our seperate ways.

My wish for everyone for 2009 is that the wind will always blow you in the direction you want to go.

Jim

Well a relatively quiet Hogmanay for me here in the home of the best NewYear party in the world... In bed by about 03.30 and awoke somewhat jaded but not really hungover this morning. Looking forward to the adventures ahead.

Happy New Year

What a fine morning to start the year. Just enough wind on the Forth to fill the sails. Two other yachts seen.

Have another look tomorrow when PEYC first foots RFYC at Granton - probably be more boats out than I have fingers to count. No wind forecast but a wee bit of sun is likely.

For those that think winter ain't a good time for sailing here's an easy "where is it" from last Tuesday (The snow flakes improve it greatly!)
