I won't be setting off on any ocean crossings just yet - too many other commitments and SWMBO is still employed - but I do mean to spent more time sailing. Initial thoughts are to simply extend weekends to avoid the after work stampede on Fridays, and the queue down Loch Lomond side on Sunday nights, with extra days added as weather and other things permit. Then we'll see...

Freedom!
As of today I'm no longer part of the corporate machine. While it's a big change (a 30 year habit is hard to kick) I think I'll be able to get used to it!

Enjoy yourself . . .
(It's later than you think department . . .)
Finished at Oban High School today . . . still sinking in, but I don't think I'm going to miss it much for a while at least.
Two 5-day courses to run on the Clyde then it's flat out getting ready to sail for warmer climes on Aug 1st.
Have fun Dave . . . if you are in Puilladobhran anytime give us a bell.

Congratulations DaveS - a long and happy retirement to you sir and many happy hours of sailing. I am horribly envious I must admit ,as I sit at my desk looking oot the windie on a fine day indeed, at your new found freedom. Enjoy.
